Dear Friends of Chazy Lake,
On 2/20/2022 Chazy Lake lost one of its most influential standard bearers, my mom, Judy LaPoint.
Although mom lived on the Lake her entire life, for the past 26 years – as the Lake’s pre-eminent realtor. We have operated LaPoint Realty as a full service company. Creating family memories like we had.– Mom has also been the Lake’s unofficial “gatekeeper.” As the gatekeeper, she has skillfully guided to the Lake hundreds of people who she knew would love Chazy Lake as much as she.
This is “Our Lake,” she always said. Our Lake to enjoy, Our Lake to share with family, friends, and visitors, and Our Lake to make better than we found it.
Throughout her life, you could always count on Mom to fight “for” her neighbors, her community, and Our Lake. Her fighting spirit will be missed, but never forgotten.
She is now rejoined with those who left this world before her, most notably my Dad, George, of 48 years, and my 2 brothers, Todd and Marty.
With new prospective on “our little slice of heaven,” as she called it, Mom’s lasting legacy will be her love of Chazy Lake, which she instilled in everyone she graciously touched.
I have recently been appointed as broker of record for LaPoint Realty. I have been a salesperson since the conception of LaPoint Realty and along my son-in-law and aunt we will work hard to serve you.
