It is with a very heavy heart that I take on the role as Broker for LaPoint Realty. I have had the honor of working with my mom for 14 years. The items my mom was most proud of was her family, her dedication to leave the lake better than how we found it, and our family business. As a family, we will work hard to make her proud.
I am a fifth generation Chazy Laker. Being fortunate enough to grow up on the lake, I appreciate the enthusiasm of my customers waiting to share in its beauty. I have been involved with LaPoint Realty since 2008. I think my strongest asset is to bring together sellers and purchasers and to guide them through the process where the seller leaves the table satisfied and happy, and the purchasers become our neighbors and our friends. The real estate business on Chazy Lake and Chateaugay Lake is unique in that it is located in the Adirondack Park and there may be environmental issues that need to be addressed. Living here, I have knowledgeable resources.
Along with my Real Estate career, I was an elementary teacher of 34 years at Saranac Elementary. I was chosen New York State Teacher of the Year in 2009. My philosophy on teaching and real estate shares a common goal, building connections, making the experience positive, and successful. I retired from teaching in June 2022.
I live on Chazy Lake with my husband Todd, and my daughter Kristen, son-in-law Jason, both teachers, our youngest Chazy Laker, Jackson Todd, my daughter Kayla, who is a PA at the FitzPatrick Cancer Center and her husband Ethan Goslin, who is Director of Facilities at Saranac Central School.
My favorite thing to do is to spend the day on the lake.
